Built by Collectors, for Collectors
War Chest was born from watching my dad struggle with his collection. Years of militaria documented in Microsoft Access databases, Excel spreadsheets, and folders of photos with cryptic filenames.
Finding a specific piece meant digging through multiple files. Sharing with other enthusiasts was nearly impossible. And the constant fear of a hard drive failure taking everything with it? That was always in the back of his mind.
So I built what he needed: a modern, secure, web-based archive designed specifically for militaria collectors. One that understands the nuances of cataloging historical pieces, from era classification to provenance tracking.
Built by Chris, for my dad Chris, to preserve the collection and stories he cares about.
Built for Serious Collectors
Specialized categories for every type of militaria, designed to handle the nuances of history.
Capture Every Detail
Purpose-built fields for militaria, plus custom tags to organize your way.

Fields That Make Sense
Not just generic "notes" fields. We built in what collectors actually track:

Create any tags you need to organize and filter your collection:
The Problem We Solved
Serious collectors deserve better than scattered files and outdated tools.
Spreadsheet Chaos
Excel files, Access databases, and paper records scattered across folders. No images, no links, no structure.
Trapped on One Machine
Local-only tools mean you can't access your collection from anywhere else. One hard drive failure and it's gone.
Impossible to Share
Want to show fellow collectors your pieces? Good luck emailing spreadsheets and photo folders.
